(BEWARE) Stop Drinking Coffee If You’re Adding THIS To It

…how you can turn your coffee from a fat-burning weapon to a fat magnet in 1 easy step!

For a long time, I used to LOVE coffee.  I used to drink TWO (or more) cups each and every day.

It kept me alert…woke me up during sleepless nights of fostering a little baby girl...and keeping me alert all those times I was traveling on the road.

My love affair with coffee began a long, LONG time ago.  And every day since,  I have enjoyed at least a cup of the black nectar of the gods.

Now, when it came to sweetening my coffee, I used to experiment with all kinds of different combinations.

Cream…sugar…raw sugar…agave…milk…you name it, I pretty much used it.

All except one thing: artificial creamers.   You know, the powdered milk product that often accompanies the pink, white, yellow, and blue packets commonly found at gas stations on eateries all around.

But artificial creamers were not limited to these places…

…they were also found (often in large plastic containers) in the workplace cafeteria or in the lounge area.

Sure they may taste good (with all these new flavors around)…

…but what they could do to your health and your weight loss is another thing to consider.   Let’s take a closer look…

The Danger of Artificial Creamers…

Artificial creamers are just not healthy—plain and simple.  Not only could they cause bloating and stomach pains…

…the additive and ingredients found in artificial creamers could cause you to gain weight, destroy your heart, and may even cause cancer (or other debilitating diseases).

In fact, here are just a few of the ingredients that may be found in your favorite artificial creamer brand (so be sure to check your labels carefully):

1. SUGAR

Face it, sugar is by far the most evil nutrient around.  Not only does it lead to intense cravings, but it’s been linked to a myriad of different ailments and diseases.

Plus, the average person eats around 150 to 170 pounds of the stuff, which could help account for the increase in girth measurements.

But seriously, just check out the dangers associated with sugar:

  • Tooth decay
  • Weight gain
  • Diabetes
  • Cravings
  • Heart disease
  • Inflammation
  • Certain cancers
  • And so much more

It’s no wonder why sugar should be AVOIDED at all costs—even the sugar you don’t know about!  Sugar is one of the most common ingredients found in artificial creamers, making it a no-no for any avid coffee drinker.

2. Trans-fats

I know it’s going to come as a surprise, but there are trans-fats in your artificial creamers.  Sure, it may say ZERO grams of fat on the label, but trust me, it’s in there.

If you take a good, hard look at the ingredient list, you will see partially hydrogenated oils (or even hydrogenated oils), which means there are trans-fats in the product.

Trans-fats are man-made (or artificial) and are very dangerous to your body and your health.

These fats have been linked to higher inflammation levels, heart disease, and some cancers.  There should be no reason why you need trans-fats in your body (or artificial creamers).

3. Corn Syrup

So you’ve looked at your label and couldn’t find sugar anywhere on it.  So you may think it's ok?

It’s still not.  Take a closer look and you may find corn syrup, syrup solids, or high fructose corn syrup, which is a man-made form of sugar.

(The actual process of making corn syrup is taking cornstarch and mixing it with hydrochloric acid).

It’s been linked to things like weight gain, body fat gain, inflammation, altered cholesterol, and heart disease.

It gets worse…

High fructose corn syrup is the most dangerous sugar of all, since it heads straight to your liver where it gets stored (and could lead to fatty livers).

4. Sodium Caseinate

Here’s a sneaky ingredient that could be dangerous for those who don’t do dairy.   Sodium caseinate is a derivative of dairy.

And that means that all those people who are using non-dairy creamers—due to dairy intolerance—could be setting themselves up for issues.

If you’re currently consuming a non-dairy creamer due to allergies or intolerance, then you may want to check the ingredients to be sure that your creamer doesn’t contain sodium caseinate.

Now, these are just a few of the nasty ingredients that make up your normal coffee creamer, which could be detrimental to your health.

So what can you use instead?

The Alternatives to Artificial Creamers…

There are plenty of different products you can use to fortify your coffee while improving your health.  Below is a list of my personal favorites (and could be yours as well):

1. Organic Creamer

If you want creamer in your coffee, then you should go with the natural way of a real, full-fat, organic creamer.

Sure it will add a few calories to your health, but it could also add a lot of health benefits.

Full-fat dairy has been linked to a decrease in waist circumference, belly fat, and overall weight loss.

Plus, most full-fledged creamers don’t contain additives or artificial ingredients.

Opt for an organic creamer or half-and-half in place of the artificial creamers.

2. Raw Honey

If you like your coffee sweet—but don’t want to risk using sugar—then honey may be a great alternative.

Not only is it one of the healthiest sweeteners around, it also contains quite a few health benefits.

For example, if you’ve ever had a cold, you know that having honey in your tea is a great way to soothe a sore throat or relieve cough symptoms.

Besides the powerful cold benefits, honey also contains plenty of antibacterial properties, which could help to eliminate harmful bacteria from your body.

3. Coconut Sugar

Again, if you like your coffee sweet, but don’t want to risk the ill-effects of sugar, then you could opt for coconut sugar.

This is a relatively new type of sweetener that people seem to love!  Not only is it healthier than table sugar…

…it contains plenty of trace minerals that are good for your health.  The minerals found in coconut sugar are:

  • Potassium
  • Iron
  • Zinc
  • Calcium
  • Polyphenols
  • Antioxidants
  • Short-chain fatty acids (some)

Calorie-wise it may be the same as table sugar, but health wise it is far superior (and tastes great too).

4. Raw Cacao

If you haven’t tried this yet, you need to—especially if you’re a chocolate lover!  As you know, cacao is very healthy for you.

Studies have linked cacao to improvements in heart health, diabetes, and of course, weight loss.

The reason: Cacao contains powerful antioxidants and polyphenols that vastly improve your health.

Add a teaspoon of cacao to your coffee in the morning for an extra pick me up.

The Final Word…

There are many people who drink coffee.  Some drink it to wake up in the morning, while others drink it solely because they enjoy it.

Regardless of why you may drink coffee, the research shows there are many benefits to having a cup of Joe first thing in the morning (or even throughout the day).

But if you’re going to drink coffee, be sure you’re not adding anything dangerous to your cup, like artificial creamers or other additives.

These simple additions could spell trouble for your waistline and your overall health.

If you follow the advice in today’s article, you’re sure to enjoy your coffee and give your health a boost.

But you have to beware…

Even though today’s article sheds some light on the dangers of artificial creamers, there are many other foods and beverages that are marketed as healthy, but are not.

In fact, on the next page, you’re going to find a list of foods that could be slowly KILLING you—and your loved ones.
