Are These Hormones Keeping You Fat And Unhappy?

...how to get your fat-burning hormones working together again!

There are a lot of things that could go wrong when you’re trying to lose weight and fat.

You could overeat…

You could fall victim to insatiable cravings…

Or you could forget about sticking to your diet and exercise plan.

These factors could boost your overall fat gain – therefore causing your fat loss to come screeching to a halt.

However, if you do everything right – eat right, exercise, manage stress, etc. – and you still can’t lose the weight, then there could be something serious going on inside your body.

Hormones and Fat Loss

Inside your body, you have some pretty powerful hormones that can 1) make you burn tremendous amounts of fat, or 2) make you gain tremendous amounts of fat.

Now, when these hormones are functioning the way they should be, then chances are better for fat burning and weight loss.

However, if there are increases in some, and decreases in others, then you may find yourself on the losing end of the stick – and not in a good way!

For example, if you have too much cortisol – the stress hormone – you may find it harder to lose the fat, but easier to gain it.

Also, you may find your body becomes puffy, you may have excess water gain, and you may have “moon face” or a “buffalo hump.”

Both conditions may be directly tied to an over-production of cortisol (too much stress, Cushing disease), which could do some pretty serious damage in your body.

Now, that’s not the only hormone that is important.

Take insulin for example.  When there is not enough insulin produced, you may find it harder to control your blood sugar levels.

This could lead to insatiable cravings, low energy levels, and the potential for fat gain.

And, this could also increase your risk for type 2 diabetes, which could further increase your fat gain, plus, put you at risk for some pretty serious health conditions.

Now, there are two pretty important hormones, that when the levels are low, could impact your ability to lose fat.

They are testosterone and adiponectin.

Testosterone – the sex hormone found in BOTH men and women – could lead to increases in strength, muscle mass, and could prevent falls and breaks.

However, when the levels dip below normal, then you may find excess body fat, less energy, saggy boobs, and other unpleasant body composition issues.

However, if you find ways to boost your testosterone - then you may find a leaner, stronger body with much lower levels of body fat (but only if you eat the right diet).

The same holds true for adiponectin.

This powerful protein is produced and released from your own fat cells.  Its main job is to tell your body when you are full, and that you need to burn some fat for energy.

However, when you start to gain weight, this powerful fat loss protein decreases, making it that much harder for you to lose the fat.

Now, there are many other hormones that could be addressed, but the bottom line is this:

Maintaining healthy hormone levels – less cortisol, higher testosterone, balanced insulin levels, and adequate adiponectin levels – could maximize your body’s potential for boosting your fat loss.

If you’re not able to decrease – or boost – some of these potent hormones and proteins, then there could be a less likelihood that you’ll be able to burn the excess body fat or fit into your skinny jeans.

So for your health, take the right steps now to stabilize your hormone levels to give your fat loss a much needed boost.
